Here is the start of the picture overload!
At Abbi and Pooba's house:
At Nana and Grandpas:
I also undertook a sewing project with my mom. I made a skirt, and she made a matching dress for Brooke. I will post my dress later...but the skirt is just too cute too leave out!
Love my mom. And her sewing skills. It was awesome having her around to fix all my oopsie's!
Lego's with Grandpa
And by the way...guess who is CRAWLING!???
Jessica and her kids came up for a weekend, which was soooo awesome. I loved being able to see them for a couple days in a row. And Peter and Brooke were also in heaven seeing their best friends!
My parents garden...all the kids LOVED it!
This picture is one of my all-time favorites.
Peter and Brooke were pretty much in kid heaven our entire trip. They were surrounded by their favorite friends. This next picture is CLASSIC.
Conversation went like this:
Peter: Hi Talan!
Talan: Do you want to watch me play my video game?
Peter: Sure!
Here is the funniest part: This same situation took place about 20 years ago between their dads. Like father like son. And to this day Bryan can still sit and watch Steve play his video games. Now THAT is true friendship right there...
I also got to teach a 'dance intensive', which is pretty much like a 'mini dance class' for a couple days. I had SO much fun. It felt awesome to be back in the studio. I love dance. There is no replacement for the feeling I get when I am dancing. (cheesy, yes, but true.) I hope I get more opportunity in the future to share my love of dance with others.
Us 'oldies'...(its really just me that is old. The other girls are just 'old' enough that I actually danced with them for a couple years before I graduated and became their teacher. Mainly Nicole, on the right...she is only a couple years younger than me and we are both mommies now!
It was a fast 3 weeks in Flagstaff, and I really loved every minute of it. I got to go running every day with out having to push the kids in the stroller. I hung out with my parents and siblings. I got to see my extended family and so many good friends. Thanks again mom and dad for putting up with us for so long and all the help!
