Peter turns 7!

We had a Star Wars Lego party to celebrate Peter turning 7!  We made 'light sabers' out of pool noodles and duct tape, and I made really easy, no-sew jedi robes.  Bryan even used a stencil and painted on the 'rebel' symbol on the front of the capes.
They had a 'jedi training session' where they learned to use the force and fight!

Peter requested a "Yellow lego brick" cake.  Best request a 9 month pregnant chick could get.  Super easy and he was thrilled.  So was I.

 Peter's good friend Angeli.

About Peter these days:
He loves legos.  (LOVES LOVES LOVES legos) It is all he plays with.  He also really likes Star Wars...especially the Lego Star Wars Wii game.
He is still a picky eater.  He hates melted cheese. (So weird.)  He eats all veggies, but doesn't like anything with a 'sauce' in it.  i.e. Casseroles, enchiladas, salad dressing.  If he keeps up like this he will never have any fat on him because he eats everything plain.
He is a great big brother and is a good helper around the house.  His chores include emptying the trash, keeping his room clean, emptying the dishwasher and getting his dirty clothes upstairs into the washing machine...and putting away his clean clothes.
He is doing great in school, he is ahead in Math, and Reading...he is about the middle of 2nd grade level in Math, and 3rd grade reading.  He is still taking Piano lessons from me and I hope he sticks with it because he is a good student!
We love you Peter!
